Bio Sketch
I was born on April 27th, 1973 in
Leer, Germany. I visited the
Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität in Münster for studying
Information Systems (in German:
Diplom Wirtschaftsinformatik) from 1993 until 1999. My focus has been applied computer science (Praktische Informatik) and my diploma thesis was entitled "Entwicklung einer graphischen Benutzeroberfläche für ein
CORBA-basiertes, flexibles Workflow-Management-System" (in English: "Development of a Graphical User Interface for a CORBA-based, flexible Workflow Management System").
From 1999 until 2001, I worked as a software developer for ERP-Systems at the
Schleupen AG, Moers, in the domains workflow management, order management and accounting, storage management and financial accounting. To mention one highlight, we cooperated with the
Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität for building a data warehouse for our software. Since 2001, I am a research assistent and PhD-Student at the Business Process Technology Group of Prof. Dr. Mathias Weske. My activities at the research group are listed below. Currently, I am writing my dissertation about modelling quality aspects for services.
